Ten Hag finally reveals what happened to him after Aston Villa defeat
Sometimes we need to fall in order to rise and stand taller. This is true for Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag.
Speaking after the 4-2 victory over Aston Villa in the EFL Cup, Erik ten Hag said: “I was really mad on Sunday because we didn’t fight. We didn’t cooperate, we were sloppy, especially in defensive discipline”.

United were beaten 3-1 at Villa on Sunday in the Premier League in Unai Emery’s first game. However, the Red Devils avoided a repeat at home in the league cup.
Goals from Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay gave United a comfortable win. Next up is a trip to Fulham on Sunday.
