Spurs boss Conte shares reason for whooping loss to Arsenal
Tottenham Hotspur manager, Antonio Conte, has outlined the reasons why his side performed poorly in the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Saturday.
The team captain, Harry Kane was able to cancel Thomas Partey’s stunning opener, before Gabriel Jesus and Granit Xhaka won the three points for the Gunners with their wonderful goals.
It was a disappointing moment for Spurs when Emerson Royal received a straight red card for his challenge on Gabriel Martinelli, with the game at 2-1.

Conte admits the game was over following referee Anthony Taylor’s decision.
“I think the first half was in the balance. We had many chances to score. We made a big mistake with the last pass because we had great space. In the second half, we conceded a second goal early and we could do much better.
“With the red card, [went] the game. It was a really difficult game after that. We had to change totally then. It was the referee’s decision and I don’t want to comment,” Conte told BT Sport.
