Potter reveals Chelsea preparation to welcome Diego Costa in Wolves clash
“We have a lot of respect for what he has achieved,” Graham Potter said when asked of Diego Costa.
“He will come ready to play. Everybody knows at the club how good he’s been. He’s one of the lots of talented players at Wolves that can hurt you, so we have to be ready.”
On how Chelsea fans will receive Costa, Potter said: “I’m not sure, I hope so [good reception]. Always when players achieve something at the club, you hope so. But that’s not for me to decide.”
Costa was a cult hero during his days in Chelsea. The Brazilian helped the Blues win the Premier League in 2016.
Before leaving Chelsea, Costa had registered 59 goals in 120 games.

Meanwhile, Ajax and Netherlands legend Marco van Basten has advised Hakim Ziyech and Chelsea to part ways in January.
“There is another transfer window coming up,” Van Basten told Ziggo Sport.
“It is sad and a shame. Ziyech is a great player. We have to see someone like that, we watch TV for such a player and we come to the stadium.
“It is a pity for the whole of football that he is on the bench. If these kinds of players do not get minutes, it is not good for football.”
Ziyech has only started one game for Chelsea this season while also making three appearances from the bench.
The 29-year-old who is yet to score or assist a goal this season was linked with other clubs last summer, and the interest might well reemerge in January.
