Former Arsenal Winger hails Man United signee in new interview
Manchester United had their fair share of signings during the summer transfer window and football legends have also waded into the buildup going on at Man United. In the same vein, former Arsenal and Manchester City winger, Samir Nasri has added his voice as he hails Erik ten Hag new signing.
While sharing his views, Samir Nasri, has slammed those criticizing Manchester United’s signing of winger Antony from Ajax over the summer.
Manchester United signed the Brazil international for over £82 million from the Dutch champions and some have argued that this is too much for a player who only scored twelve goals in the league during the 2022/23 campaign.

But Nasri described the winger as one of his darlings, as he is a big fan of Antony, insisting that the price tag does not matter.
“I saw him last year in the Champions League. He’s one of my darlings,” Nasri said, according to Football365.
“I really like the player. He’s very technical, always taking risks. I heard a lot that they overpaid for him and that he’s a panic buy. For me, that’s not the case.
“He’s a talented player and he’s back with a manager he knows well,” he added.
Antony scored on his first day on duty for Red Devils, netting the first goal In Manchester United’s 3-1 win over the Gunners.
