Football Pundit Reveals one Man United star that has wasted his Opportunity.
Former England forward, Noel Whelan has claimed that goalkeeper Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson has misused his opportunity to succeed David de Gea as the club’s first-choice keeper.
Henderson went on loan to newly promoted Premier League club Nottingham Forest, where he remains a starter as opposed to his time at Old Trafford.
The 25-year-old had slammed Man United last season as he felt that with him being in his prime, an entire season was wasted after playing second fiddle to De Gea.

Speaking to Football Insider, Whelan said: “If I was the manager or owner of a club like Man United, I would be telling him to crack on with his career elsewhere. When you come out and start putting down the club you are at, there’s absolutely no way back.”
He added: “It is just madness for him to come out and be so immature and bitter when he could still have had a job to do. I think it scuppered his opportunity. They could now be willing to go out and spend more money to get someone else in.”
Henderson, 25, came through the ranks at Manchester United’s academy before signing his first professional contract in 2015.
However, he did not make a single senior appearance until five years later.
