Manchester United rave of the moment, Christian Eriksen has revealed one player that is worthy of his praise in the midfield. The player is no other than academy star Scott McTominay.
Eriksen believes that the underrated player should be given more recognition as he deserves a great deal of credit for his contribution to Manchester United’s Premier League revival.
Manchester United began the season with two humiliating defeats but responded with four consecutive victories in the league, including triumphs at home over Liverpool and Arsenal.
Eriksen and McTominay began in midfield for each of those four victories, and it was instructive that their overall performance dipped against Real Sociedad on Thursday night when they were separated.
Ten Hag will be hoping the duo can inspire United to another victory the next time they start together — their match against Crystal Palace this weekend was postponed due to the passing of the Queen — and Eriksen believes McTominay deserves the most of the credit for his performance in midfield.

“Scott has done very well and I think you can see that from the games,“ he told official club media.
“I think in the first few ones we were looking for each other a bit and seeing where we are, but now I think we are starting to get a good connection and a good feeling of where you should be, and also because of the instructions of the manager as he has the positions he would like us to be in.
“So first of all we need to focus on our partnership and, at the same time, we need to focus on where the manager wants us to be. I think it’s gone well, but also when you win games it’s just easier to look back and the confidence builds up and you forget the small mistakes you make and remember the good things.
“There are a lot of things we can improve, but it’s a good road we’re on.”
