Manchester United goalkeeper, David de Gea has shared an update about his future as contract talks between him and the club remains pending.
This was during a live session on BT Sports on Sunday. The 31-year-old revealed that he would like to spend more years at Old Trafford, however, the decision is not just his to make.
This is what the Spaniard had to say: “I’m just very focused on the games helping the team as much as I can.

“Of course, I would like to be here for more years, so let’s see what happens in the future. I’m really, really happy here.”
De Gea’s deal at Old Trafford expires at the end of the 2022/23 season although the Red Devils have an option of extending it for a further year.
All contract talks at Man United have been reportedly paused at the request of Erik ten Hag as the Dutchman is taking his time assessing the squad.
